Enco is committed to shipping orders for in-stock catalog items within one business day to continental U.S. customers with an established open line of credit or ordering via credit card. This does not apply to orders for machinery, parts, items requiring setup or special packaging, and orders requiring credit review or additional consultation with the customer. Enco shall not be responsible for delays in shipping caused by computer or electronic interruptions, mechanical or electrical breakdowns, strikes, riots, severe weather conditions, acts of God or any other forces beyond our reasonable control.
Shipping charges are calculated based on the shipping method used, the weight of the items on the order, and the distance between our Distribution Center and your ship-to address. Our primary method of shipment for orders weighing 125 lbs. or less is UPS - Standard Ground. Some items cannot ship UPS due to size, shape, fragility, or other restrictions. Enco reserves the right to ship such items via freight (or other appropriate) carrier to ensure your order arrives intact. Our shippers may impose surcharges for delivery of your order. These surcharges vary by carrier and may change at the carrier's discretion. Enco reserves the right to pass along these surcharges to our customers at any time. Residential deliveries will incur a surcharge. Enco does not offer Consignee Billing or UPS Collect shipments.
U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations require us to provide special packaging for some Enco products that may be considered to be potentially hazardous and excluded from air shipments. These products are identified with "DOT Regulated" and "NO AEROSOLS" icons in our catalog. You may receive a separate package, packing slip, and invoice for these items.
Free Shipping Promotions:
Enco may occasionally conduct promotional activities offering Free Shipping or Free UPS Shipping. Both of these terms refer to standard ground shipments to locations within the 48 contiguous U.S. states only, AK, HI, US territories and international shipments are specifically excluded from these offers. On truck shipments, liftgate and other non-standard services will incur an additional charge, call for details. Enco reserves the right to limit or discontinue Free Shipping promotions. Free UPS Shipping offers are limited to shipments under 125 lbs. and cannot be combined with other promotional offers from Enco.
All shipping charges are F.O.B. shipping point. Specific shipping charges will be quoted at the time of order; please call us for specific shipping and handling charge inquiries. Upon delivery, you will be responsible for making arrangements for the unloading and movement of your order to its final destination. Special transportation services such as liftgate, flatbed transportation, notification prior to delivery, delivery to a residential area, and changes in delivery service are available at an additional charge. All freight charges will be added to your Enco invoice when you place your order; you will not need to pay the shipping company upon delivery. In the event that your order is lost or damaged, call Enco to make arrangements for return or replacement. Please see LOST AND DAMAGED SHIPMENTS below for additional details.
If you would like your preferred shipping company to pick up your order, simply let us know when you place your order. You will be responsible for paying your trucking company all freight charges associated with your order. In the event that your order is lost or damaged, you will be responsible for filing a claim with the trucking company in order to recover the cost of the merchandise and freight expenses. Enco does not ship orders outside of the United States or its territories. For customers located outside of the United States or its territories, we will ship your order to the U.S.-based freight forwarder of your choice. In addition, Enco reserves the right to request and verify additional shipping and payment information before processing orders placed by our international customers. Please note that the international customer is solely responsible for the costs associated with exporting their Enco order, including forwarding and brokerage fees, duties, tariffs, taxes, and any additional expenses levied by the exporting country (U.S.), the destination country, or any intermediary country through which the order may pass. Enco products and services, including user manuals and software, are subject to all U.S. export control laws, regulations and administrative policies. Diversion contrary to U.S. law is prohibited. Purchaser understands that a license, written approval or other authorization may be required from the Bureau of Industry and Security of the U.S. Department of Commerce, the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls of the U.S. Department of State or other U.S. government agency prior to the export or reexport of these items from the U.S. Guidance may be found at http://www.bis.doc.gov/ and http://www.pmdtc.org/contactus.htm. CREDIT, PAYMENT POLICY & SALES TAX
Enco accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover credit cards. We also accept company check or money order payment on all prepaid orders under $500 total. Certified checks or money orders are required on machinery deposits and prepaid orders over $500 total. Your first order with Enco must be paid with Credit Card, Check or money order. C.O.D. payment is not allowed on any Enco order.
Payment on regular open account invoices is due net 30 days. All payments must be in U.S. dollars. All orders are subject to applicable shipping, taxes and processing charges.
Customers are fully responsible for payment of all applicable state and local tax, or for providing a valid sales tax exemption certificate. When placing an order, customers shall indicate their tax exempt status (if applicable).
Enco makes available certain payment processes through which you can provide payment information to us when you pay for your order (our "Authorized Payment Processes"). Examples of our Authorized Payment Processes include providing payment information by telephone or through our website checkout page. Enco has implemented physical, technological and administrative safeguards intended to protect the information that you provide using one of our Authorized Payment Processes. These safeguards include, for example, encryption of Internet communications. If you do not use Authorized Payment Processes, and you submit payment information through some other method (such as via email or fax), then the safeguards provided by our Authorized Payment Processes will not protect your payment information, and you provide such information at your own risk. Enco expressly disclaims all responsibility regarding the collection, use and protection of information that you do not submit through an Authorized Payment Process.
RETURNS & REPAIRS
Responsibility: Enco shall not be responsible for any loss of business, downtime, goodwill, late delivery, or any other commitment incurred by the customer that may be related to the purchase, use, repair, or return of any Enco product without prior written authorization. As sellers, we make no warranties, express or implied, of performance, merchantability, workmanship, quality, durability, suitability, or non-infringement including those instances where changes, alterations, or modifications are made in materials at the request or instruction of the purchaser. Our obligation is limited only to the repair or replacement of defective parts and/or merchandise or, at our sole option, to refund the purchase price. This warranty is exclusive and in lieu of any and all other warranties, whether written or oral, expressed or implied, including but not limited to any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. In no event shall Enco be liable for any incidental, special, or consequential damages of any nature. A full refund will be given, subject to QA inspection, for any defective item returned to us and received by us within our 30-day warranty period in its original packaging. If an Enco product is found to be defective, the value of that product is our only liability. We do not warrant or represent that our merchandise complies with the provisions of any law, particularly the Walsh-Healey Public Contracts Act, and the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970, and regulations promulgated thereunder, unless the manufacturer so warrants.
Any Enco purchase may be returned for credit within 30 days of shipment, provided that the item is (A) unused and resalable, (B) found to be defective in either material or workmanship (subject to QA inspection), or (C) not specifically restricted from return as stated below.
Before returning any item call 800-USE-ENCO (800-873-3626) to obtain a Return Authorization (RA) number. We will not be able to process your return and properly credit your account without a Return Authorization number. Please have your invoice or packing slip number and Enco item model number available when you call. If the return is a result of a manufacturer's defect or an error by Enco, we will gladly make arrangements for return at our expense. Returns that are not the result of a manufacturer's defect or error by Enco must be returned at the customer's expense and will be subject to a handling and/or restocking charge. Include with your return a copy of your invoice or packing slip, along with the Return Authorization number given to you by Enco. All merchandise must be returned in its original packaging. C.O.D. returns will not be accepted.

- Altered, etched, modified, or abused items
- Computer Software: Unopened software may be returned for credit. Opened software will be replaced only if defective.
- Custom-manufactured items, such as collet closers
- Cut-To-Length Items, such as chain, rope, and tubing

LOST AND DAMAGED SHIPMENTS
If You select The Carrier (Freight Collect): Please inspect all merchandise as described above. All damage and lost/missing packages must be noted on the delivery receipt. You are responsible for reporting all damages and lost/missing items to your carrier within seven (7) days. Please keep all damaged containers and merchandise for inspection by the carrier's agent. Failure to do so may prevent you from successfully filing a claim with the carrier to recover the cost of the merchandise and freight. Contact Enco at 800-USE-ENCO (800-873-3626) to arrange for a replacement order.
If Enco selects The Carrier: Please inspect all merchandise while the delivery agent is still present, making note of number of boxes or skids delivered as well as any visible damage or discrepancies. If you observe damage beyond use or repair, please refuse the delivery. If the damage is not noted at the time of the delivery but noticed later, you have seven (7) days (including weekends) to report the problem to us and arrange for a replacement order. Please keep all damaged containers and merchandise for inspection by the carrier's agent until advised to do otherwise by Enco or the carrier. Enco will file all necessary claims with the carrier.
All machinery purchased directly from Enco is warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for its' mechanical and electrical components for one year from date of shipment for parts and 90 days for labor. Please contact us at 800-USE-ENCO (800-873-3626) during your warranty period to arrange for any necessary parts and service on your machine. Enco also sells products from national brand manufacturers that may have an additional specific limited warranty; please call for details.
Machinery parts and electrical components parts found to be defective in material or workmanship during the warranty period shall be replaced or repaired (at Enco's sole discretion). Any machinery parts or electrical components found to be modified, altered, misused, abused or neglected will void the warranty. The customer will be responsible for all expenses associated with non-warranty repairs. Parts not covered by this warranty are normal wear or consumable parts such as (but not limited to) belts, filters, lubricants, batteries, lamps, brakes and blades. The customer is responsible for providing correct power to operate all electrical equipment associated with their purchase. In the event that a phase converter is used, the warranty may not cover electrical components or the operation of equipment.
Responsibility: This warranty is exclusive and in lieu of all other warranties whether written, oral or implied including any warranty of merchantability and any warranty of fitness for a particular purpose. Enco shall not be responsible for any loss of business, downtime, goodwill, late delivery, or any other commitment incurred by the customer that may be related to the purchase, use, repair, or return of any Enco machine without prior written authorization. Enco's machinery warranty is void outside of the U.S.
COMPLIANCE WITH LAWS
Some products may be obtained from multiple supply sources located throughout the United States or internationally and shipped directly to the customer without sending the item through Enco. Many states and localities have codes and regulations governing sale, offering for sale, distribution, construction, installation, and use of products for certain purposes and/or containing certain regulated substances, which may vary from those in neighboring areas. Enco relies upon information provided by the supplier of these products to ensure they are compliant with the laws of the jurisdiction into which the product is shipped. The information provided by the supplier as to the ability of the product to be sold or distributed in any particular jurisdiction is believed by Enco to be accurate. Enco, however, shall not be responsible for how products are used or installed or for the product's conformance to regional, state, or local codes or regulations. Enco does not guarantee compliance with any law and assumes no responsibility for how the items are used or installed. The customer has the sole responsibility for compliance with all applicable Codes, Regulations and Laws and before purchase and use of the product customer must review and ensure full compliance with such Codes, Regulations and Laws. This includes but is not limited to CSA, FAA, DOT, UL, NOM, IATA, IMDG, CE, DIN, and ANSI concerning the use or installation of items.
ENVIRONMENT AND SAFETY
VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) Limits: Enco may be prohibited from offering certain products due to restrictions or requirements of various federal, state, local and other authorities having jurisdiction in these matters. VOC restrictions may change without notice. If this occurs, your sales representative will notify you at order time. Purchasers should consult the regulations applicable to these products to ensure compliance. Enco relies on the manufacturer to provide information regarding the VOC content of their products and makes no representations or warranties regarding the information provided by the manufacturer.
Ozone Depleting Substances (ODS): Enco may be prohibited from offering certain products that contain chemicals (hydrochlorofluorocarbons) to customers that are not commercial customers as defined by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA). As per the USEPA, it is a violation of federal law to sell, distribute, or offer to sell or distribute any chlorofluorocarbon or aerosol hydrochlorofluorocarbon-containing cleaning fluid for electronic and photographic equipment to anyone who is not a commercial user of this product. The penalty for violating this prohibition can be up to $25,000 per sale. Individuals purchasing such products must present proof of their commercial status in accordance with 40 CFR 82.68(a) or (c). ODS restrictions may change without notice and customers should consult the ODS regulations and are responsible for compliance with all the ODS regulations.
California Proposition 65: Some products may contain chemicals and, therefore, be subject to warning requirements of California Proposition 65. Proposition 65 requires certain chemicals identified by the State of California as causing birth defects, other reproductive harm, or cancer to require written warnings on Enco's packing slips. Enco relies on the manufacturer to provide information regarding the hazardous chemicals in their products and makes no representations or warranties regarding the information provided by the manufacturer.
Mercury-Containing Products: Some products may contain mercury and may, therefore, be subject to federal, state, or local regulations regarding their purchase, use, handling and/or disposal. Purchasers should consult the regulations applicable to their operations regarding these products. Enco relies on the manufacturer regarding the mercury content of their products and makes no representations or warranties regarding the information provided by the manufacturer.
Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS): A document required by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) providing specific Safety, Health and Environmental information about a product deemed to be hazardous (e.g. Hazardous Ingredients, Physical Hazards, Health Hazards, Safe Handling, Control Measures and more.)
Manufacturers or importers are required to produce MSDSs and employers are required to have them available for their staff as per OSHA's Hazard Communication Standard 29 CFR 1910.1200. Enco expressly relies on the evaluation of the chemical manufacturer/importer contained therein. Enco makes no representation or warranty concerning the accuracy of information or recommendations made by the manufacturer or importer on an MSDS and customer is responsible for reliance on or use of such information.
Enco provides Material Safety Data Sheets for those items deemed hazardous when you order the product for the first time, when an updated MSDS is received from the manufacturer/importer, or upon receipt of your specific request. MSDSs may be requested by submitting a written request through Enco's website (www.use-enco.com), calling Enco's toll-free sales and customer-service number (1-800-873-3626), by faxing your written request to Enco's toll-free fax number (1-800-965-5857), or mailing your written request to Enco, 400 Nevada Pacific Hwy., Fernley, NV 89408.
Dangerous Goods/Hazardous Materials: Enco prepares and ships hazardous materials in accordance with the requirements of the DOT as contained in Title 49 of the Code of Federal Regulations (C.F.R.) and individual carrier requirements. These regulations and the carrier requirements may be amended or changed from time to time. All hazardous materials require special handling and packaging. Lead: Enco may be prohibited from offering certain plumbing products intended for use in conveying potable water due to restrictions or requirements of various federal, state, local and other authorities that have prescribed lead content restrictions for such products. These restrictions may change without notice. Purchasers should consult the regulations applicable to these products to ensure compliance. Enco relies on the manufacturer to provide information regarding the lead content of their products and makes no representations or warranties regarding the information provided by the manufacturer.
Energy Efficiency: Enco may be prohibited from offering certain products that do not meet federal, state, and/or local requirements for energy efficiency. Energy efficiency requirements may change without notice. Purchasers should consult the regulations applicable to these products to ensure compliance. Enco relies on the manufacturer regarding the energy efficiency rating of their products and makes no representations or warranties regarding the information provided by the manufacturer.
Handling and Disposal: Numerous Federal, State, and local codes, regulations and laws may apply to the disposal of products purchased from Enco. Customer is solely responsible for proper handling and disposal of purchased items and should review and ensure compliance with all such codes, regulations and laws.
